Short Fenceline - Easier
What You'll Find
Fenceline is one of those classic Missoula rides: it's got smooth, flowing singletrack, mountain & meadow views, and it's right next to town. This 5 mile loop is the easiest way to ride some fun singletrack in the Rattlesnake.
From the Main Rattlesnake trailhead, head up Sawmill Gulch road. Ewok trail runs just NW of the road, which is a legal climb, but it's nice to take the road up and leave the Ewok for the way back down.
Once the gulch opens up, continue past the bottom of Fenceline, coming in on your left, and take the next left onto Turkey Trail. After a little more climbing, you'll meet the middle of Fenceline and hang a left to complete the loop around Sawmill Gulch.
