About the event

In this class, we will discuss the importance of plyometrics and power development for mountain biking. We consider the topics discussed in this class to be the biggest missing component for most recreational or amateur cyclists when they go to the gym.

In any sport prep, we want to make sure that our bodies and tissue are ready for the sport we are going to perform. These elements of training can greatly contribute to preventing injury as well as improving performance outside of the gym.

When people discuss the term “specificity,” this is what we mean. This day will be the most “specific” to mountain biking. However, that doesn’t mean it is more important than either of the other workouts.
