Western Montana Trail Series
The Western Montana Trail Series is back for its second year, and promises to deliver the finest backcountry racing experience in the state. The Philipsburg 46 and Seeley 55 will test your mettle on the remote singletrack that makes riding in Montana so special, and the Missoula XC will let you see how you stack up against the best in the world.
Every Western Montana Trail Series event includes camping, food, and top-of-the-line childcare from Missoula Parks and Recreation to make sure that every race is the best weekend of the summer for the whole family.
The Missoula XC is the premier mountain bike race in the mountain west. It leapt onto the US Pro XCT Calendar in 2011, and put the mountain back into elite mountain bike racing. Since then it has been won by Olympians and National Champions, and hosts the highest level of junior racing in the US. Whether you’re duking it out on the all-new, all-fun amateur course or cheering for the best in the world while they lay it on the line, the Missoula XC is bike racing like it used to be.
Your first long ride shouldn’t be intimidating. Our race in Seeley Lake offers 22, 35, and 55 mile courses so that everyone can bite off just the right amount. This event features the most beautiful sections of the Continental Divide Trail and takes riders to the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
We’re also teaming up with the Bob Marshall Music Festival again in 2017, so ride hard but don’t forget your dancing shoes.
