Wednesday Night Race League

Whether you’re thinking about jumping into your first bike event or fine tuning your fitness for the Western Montana Trail Series, the Wednesday Night Race League has something for you. Each week features a different course to keep things fresh, and brings the safety, professionalism, and fun that you’ve come to expect.

Wednesday Night Race League events feature chip timing, free Big Sky Brewing beer for participants, and top-notch childcare from our friends at Missoula Parks and Recreation to guarantee that the kiddos are having a great time while mom and dad race.

Week #1

Hot Sauce Trail
May 24 – 6pm
$20
Kids’ race – 5pm – $5

The first week of the WNRL features the brand new work at Marshall Mountain. Come work out the kinks on the Hot Sauce Trail. Parking is at Marshall Mountain!

Week #2

Moose Chuckle Trail
May 31 – 6pm

Week 2 is back at Marshall Mountain, but on an all new set of trails. We finished up work on Moose Chuckle in the fall of 2016, and we’re pretty excited on how it came out. Come have a look. Parking is at Marshall Mountain!

Week #3

Missoula XC Course
June 7 – 6pm
$20
Kids’ race – 5pm – $5

Come see what the pros are up against in Week 3, when we feature the Missoula XC Pro XCT course. After a couple laps on that thing, you’ll have earned a beer. Parking is at Marshall Mountain.

Week #4

Blue Mountain Recreation Area
June 14 – 6pm
$20
Kids’ race – 5pm – $5

This was the favorite course last year. In Week 4 we’ll take to the trails at the Blue Mountain Recreation Area, starting at the Motorcycle Trailhead. Parking for this event is at the Peak Health and Wellness Center, at 5000 Blue Mountain Road. A shuttle will be available to the start, but we encourage you to ride there. It takes about 30 minutes and is a great warm up!

Montana Snowbowl
June 21 – 6pm

The Wednesday Night Race League season finale will return to Snowbowl this year. Expect a nasty climb and a descent that will have you grinning from ear to ear! Parking for this event is at Montana Snowbowl.
